🚀 Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Application & Integration Architect to join an international project focused on enterprise application architecture, API design, and systems integration.
The selected consultant will be responsible for designing enterprise integration solutions, defining architecture standards, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing integration platforms across complex IT environments.
🛠 Main Responsibilities
- Design enterprise application and integration architectures.
- Define API and data integration strategies.
- Gather and translate business and technical requirements into solution architectures.
- Design enterprise integration platforms, services, and connectors.
- Define architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
- Lead architecture reviews and technology evaluations.
- Produce architecture documentation and technical presentations.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the software lifecycle.
- Optimize solutions considering performance, scalability, security, and quality.
- Contribute to enterprise architecture repositories and governance activities.
💻 Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience.
- At least 5 years working as an Application or Integration Architect.
- Strong experience designing enterprise integration architectures.
- Expertise in API-led integration and enterprise integration platforms.
- Experience with SOA, middleware, application servers, databases, and cloud integration.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Experience with UML and architecture modelling tools.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and on-premises integration architectures.
- Excellent communication, documentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English (minimum B2).
⭐ Nice to Have
- Experience with MuleSoft, TIBCO or similar integration platforms.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected Framework or equivalent.
- Experience with ArchiMate.
- Relevant architecture or cloud certifications.
